- Solar PV Modules: Shipped vertically in certified ISPM-15 wooden pallets with custom high-density corner buffers to prevent glass micro-cracks and cell strain.
- Inverters & PCUs: Packed in moisture-sealed static-proof wrapping with multi-layer high-density EPE foam shock absorbers.
- Mounting Structures: Hot-dip galvanized sections bundled and strapped with corrosion-inhibiting protective wrapping.
3. 100% Comprehensive Transit Insurance
All consignments dispatched by Urja Setu (Gautam Communication) are covered by a comprehensive marine & transit insurance policy against road accidents, theft, pilferage, or accidental glass shattering. In case of any transit casualty, replacement hardware is immediately dispatched at zero extra cost to the buyer.
4. Material Delivery & Handover Inspection Checklist
When materials arrive at your site, our delivery supervisor or logistics representative will review the delivery checklist with you:
- Inspect outer wooden pallet seals and confirm zero glass breakage before unloading.
- Match individual solar panel barcode serial numbers against the official Delivery Challan.
- Sign the Proof of Delivery (POD) acknowledgement receipt alongside our certified solar installation engineer.
5. Rooftop Hoisting & Civil Safety Protocols
Lifting 550W+ large-format solar panels (approx. 28–32 kg each) to rooftop terraces requires strict civil safety protocols. For installations higher than 2 floors, Urja Setu utilizes specialized mechanical winches, pulleys, or hydraulic cranes to prevent building staircase damage and ensure complete safety.
6. Dispatch Notifications & Tracking Assistance
Upon shipment dispatch, you will receive real-time SMS and WhatsApp notifications containing the Transporter Name, Lorry Receipt (LR) tracking number, and expected delivery date.
