Terms of Service & Project Guidelines

Urja Setu is the registered trade name operated by Gautam Communication (Proprietor: Debashis Chakravarty), an authorized solar services agency and channel distributor of APN Solar Energy Private Limited. All product warranties, solar modules, and inverters conform to MNRE and parent company specifications.

Upon formal project booking and site survey validation, Urja Setu delivers turnkey engineering, procurement, and commissioning (EPC) services including:

Estimates provided on the online solar calculator are for informational and planning purposes based on standard solar irradiance in India (~4 to 4.5 peak sun hours/day). Exact generation may vary based on local shadow factors, tilt angle, orientation, and weather fluctuations.

Central Financial Assistance (CFA) under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana is subject to MNRE guidelines, DISCOM technical sanction, and Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) processing by designated government nodal agencies. Urja Setu assists in documentation and portal compliance.

Equipment warranties are backed by official OEM manufacturer guarantees:

• Solar PV Modules: 10-Year Comprehensive Product Warranty + 25-Year Linear Power Output Warranty (maintaining ≥84.8% power performance at Year 25).
• Grid-Tie Inverters: 5 to 10-Year Factory Warranty against internal component defects, extendable up to 20 years.
• Solar Tubular Batteries: 2 to 5-Year Replacement Warranty as specified on respective OEM warranty cards.

The customer agrees to provide unhindered access to the installation rooftop, electricity connection for commissioning tools, a continuous water supply tap for periodic solar panel cleaning, and authorized authorization signatures required for DISCOM net metering documentation.

Franchise territory exclusivity, ROI projections, training deliverables, and margins are governed by the formal Franchise Agreement signed between the franchise applicant and Urja Setu.
